Cookie policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Available Now Stays keeps their use to a minimum.

Cookies we use

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, so we don’t need to ask for consent:

• wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*: keep owners signed in to their account. They last up to 14 days, or until you sign out.
• wordpress_test_cookie: checks your browser accepts cookies when you sign in. It lasts for your visit only.
• wp-settings-*: remember display settings for signed-in users. It lasts up to a year.

Guests who are just searching or messaging an owner don’t get any of these cookies.

Other services

Maps are loaded from OpenStreetMap and the map software from unpkg. These receive your browser’s IP address to deliver the map but don’t set cookies through our site. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, owners won’t be able to sign in.
